Rate: 5 Based on the article: "Twenty ideas for using mobile phones in the language classroom" by Hayo Reinders. Nowadays, the use of cellphones becomes necesary for everyone. We want to be in contact with our family, friends, cooworkers and every people that surround us. But also, we can use our mobile phones for learning and teaching a new language and this article mention twenty greatly ideas to do that. But remember that use mobile phones with young or teenager students could have pros and cons. But first we are going to see the pros. One principal reason for using mobile phones in class is that students can create their own learning. For students may result boring or so traditional only receiving class in a classroom, but if they are able to use their cellphone for look for a word or recording themselves in a conversation; may help them to know what their mistakes are and auto correct them. Rate: 3 Based on the article "Online Collaborative Writting Using Wikis" by Paul Sze. In this article the author describe step by step a project that his students develop in order to know how the life in secondary school is. He did it in a school in Hong Kong because there almost all the people have acces to internet. To do that, they used a writing online tool call Wiki. In the article the author explain that wiki is a website where anyone can edit anything anytime they want. So that, the teacher create 6 groups in class and every group has a diferent aspect that has to describe. The diferent aspects were: Specials rooms and facilitates, the school as one big family, interest clubs/extra-curricular activities, lunch times and recess, the S1 curriculum and adapting to secondary school life.
