Rate: 4

Based on the article: "Blending Technologies in ESL courses: A reflexive enquiry" by Paul Gruba, Cameron Clark, Nellyn Ng, and Marisa Wells.

As a future teachers we should look for new things and methods that helps students in their learning process. This article talks about an interesting method that they call "Blending method" in which its combine some others methods or materials to make a meaningful learning for students.

This method also helps to detect the problems or barriers that a student could show at the moment of they learn a second language.

They also mention that at the beginning, trying this method could be a completely disaster, but when you practice it; you start to feel confidence with this new way to teach.

We should remember that we do not have to underestimate our students, because when they start with a new language; we could though that some activities are dificult for them, and we became it easily, and the activities become bored for them. Also, we have to look for activities relate of the things that they do daily to being meaningful for them.

Blending methods are an useful way to teach a second language, but we should prepare ourselves and our materials or resources to make an achivement learning. Maybe our first experience with something new will be awful but we need to be patient and try to strengthen the parts that we think need it.
